Members often tell us that they live out of their trucks, that means they live off their cell phones as well, relying on them as their day-to-day computer. The Superbook could be a perfect fit for those mobile warriors giving you a screen, keyboard, trackpad and battery power for only $99 US.

The Superbook is a cool new Kickstarter project will allow you to use all the power and connectivity of your Android smart phone in the form factor of a laptop.  Simply plug your phone into the Superbook and it’s screen comes alive with your phone’s content as it charges your phone.  The company behind the project, Andromium has written a special app that you install on your phone which makes the whole thing possible, it handles the window management and mouse cursor.

The original goal of $50,000 has been well surpassed and they’ve reached their stretch goals as well so you can upgrade to a higher resolution screen and if they hit the next one, backlit keys will be available for those late night snow plowing sessions.
