Benefits: The Apprenticeship program is an excellent employee retention program for employees who would benefit for more training over the winter months. After the level 1 and level 2 formal winter season training, apprentices return to their sponsor/employer to practice those learned skills on the job at a more advanced level, needless to say greatly benefiting your business.
According to the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum, for every training dollar invested in an Apprentice, the employer receives a return on investment of $1.47!
