About the phone…
The Cisco 7900 series of phones are high quality network phones. Their voice quality is un-paralleled with any other IP phone and the features they offer combine power and ease of use. How do I make a call?
You have a few ways to make a new call. You can pick up the handset, press the New Call soft key or press the speaker phone button on the bottom right corner of the phone. Once you’ve got the dial tone, just dial your ten digit number. If you’d like to call someone else in the office, dial 2 and their old extension number. For example, if I want to call Tony, I pick up my phone and dial 2304. Once we remove the old phones, you will only have to dial 304.

It will only pick up calls where people have pressed 0 from the menu. If there is no call to pickup you will hear the Congestion tone and your phone will say “Reorder”.
What does it mean when I hear the beep?
These phones are full-featured, so they come complete with call waiting. If you’re on the phone and another call comes in, it will automatically prompt you to answer the other call. They also have caller ID, so you can see who’s trying to call you on the other line so you can evaluate whether you should attend to the other call or not. If you would like your phone to have call waiting disabled, it’s an options in the settings menu and I can give you hand getting it disabled.

How can people reach me?
We have a couple numbers to enter the new system.
